UPCOMING CYPRESS SHOWCASE DATES FOR 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

Thursday, September 28, 2023: 5:30-7:00pm

Cypress High School is a small public high school open to students in grades 10-12 seeking a college preparatory education. Cypress is an alternative education program available to all high school students in Santa Cruz County. The school, focusing on strong academics, was founded in 2003. The student to teacher ratio averages 15:1 and classroom sizes are kept small to create an encouraging learning environment and minimize distractions.

Cypress offers an A-G college preparatory coursework and aligns with Common Core Standards (CCCS), California State Standards (CSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Entering freshmen must be prepared for a rigorous academic curriculum including Math 1, College Prep English, Biology and Spanish. Students considering a transfer in grades 9-12 should be on track to graduate on time at their current high school. The substantial majority of students move on to four year colleges or community college.

Enrollment priority is given on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no student admission tests, tuition, or fees of any kind.

Please fill out the enrollment interest form below. You will be contacted by a member of the office staff to start a conversation about joining the Cypress community.
